What is Holistic Nutrition?

We get asked this question a lot! The answer is really simple:
Holistic nutrition is about using real food to help heal the body, while integrating it with mind and spirit. The body is pre-programed with all of the wisdom it needs to be well and strong.
Of course we know it’s really a lifestyle! It’s a deliberate choice every moment of every day to treat our body and the bodies of those we love with respect. It means that we carefully select everything we buy for ourselves, our husbands or wives, our children, family and friends. And it means that we choose a lifestyle as close to nature as we can get. At Thrive, our nutrition programs are meant to go hand-in-hand with exercise, stress management and self-care practices that help us fight off diseases and lead happy, healthy lives!

Holistic nutrition services are provided, by appointment, with Melinda Lott. Her credentials include certifications in Master Level Nutrition Consultation, Holistic Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, and Weight Management. She looks forward to assisting her clients with unraveling food myths and challenges and creating real-food meal plans and recipes that are easy and nourishing.

Our Nutrition Counseling Packages:

Holistic Nutrition Initial Consultation (1 session – 60 min) – $125

As a Master Level Holistic Nutritionist, Melinda will conduct a thorough health history addressing symptoms, conditions, current medications, supplements, herbs and over all health goals and achievements. After each session, you will receive nutrition, lifestyle and supplement recommendations. I will send a summary of everything we talk about in an email so you can focus and relax during our time together.

Thrive Alive Program (2 sessions) – $250

This basic program is perfect for someone who is generally healthy and just wants to check in and get some guidance on how they can incorporate healthy eating, supplemental recommendations and exercise into their life. It includes:

    • 1 initial consultation with personalized recommendations
    • 1 follow-up consultation 21 days later with additional recommendations
    • Meal ideas unique to your needs
    • Exercise recommendations and suggestions
    • Unlimited email support for 1 month

Thrive Balance Program (6 sessions) – $600

Do you suspect your general health is out of balance, but not sure why? This program will help you develop holistic healthy habits that will nourish your body with real food and give you the tools you need to bring balance naturally back to your life. It includes:

  • 1 initial consultation with personalized recommendations
  • 5 follow-up consultations, 21 days apart with additional recommendations
  • Customized summaries of each session with action items
  • Meal and recipe ideas unique to your needs
  • Email support for 3 months

Thrive Flourish Program (10 sessions) – $900 BEST VALUE

This program is perfect for someone living with a chronic illness or long-term disease. Together we will create lasting healthy habits and explore foods, supplements and lifestyle changes that will give your body the tools it needs to heal. The program includes:

  • 1 initial consultation with personalized recommendations
  • 9 follow-up consultations, 21 days apart with additional recommendations
