Classes listed on the schedule in green are suited for all abilities and fitness levels. Blue classes offer a bit more of a challenge, with modifications offered. Our instructors are educated to provide modifications for all levels of experience, fitness and many types of injuries. In most cases, simply let your instructor know about your concerns when you arrive at the studio and listen to your body during class. If something doesn’t feel right – don’t do it! We can offer you an alternative. No judgement, no pressure. Adult classes are generally suitable for ages 13 and up.
In order to maintain comfortable and appropriate class sizes, pre-registration is encouraged. We want to ensure that everyone has plenty of elbow rom in each class, so we limit most of our class sizes to between 10 and 14. However, we understand that you may want to pop into a class without registering and we encourage and welcome that! If there is room in the classroom we would love to have you join us! You can check the website schedule for availability in the class or drop in and say “Hello!” If class needs to be cancelled, notification of cancellation will be sent to pre-registered participants 2 hours prior to class.
If the town of Amherst cancels school, morning classes are canceled. If the town of Amherst delays school, a decision will be made regarding class cancellations two hours prior to class. Pre-registered class participants will be notified by email in the event of cancellations. We will also update our blog and the homepage of our website!
